There is also something to be found for lovers of wildlife: Hike through winter trails covered in snow and enjoy the brilliant winter sun.
Ski rental
Thanks to our partner Intersport Breitfuss, our guests can rent first-class ski equipment right next door. Rental skis including poles and equipment can be booked easily and conveniently online or in store. When it’s time to hit the slopes, all you have to do is try them on and off you go!

ACTION
Toboggan Run
Fancy a small, fun race among colleagues? Then the toboggan run on the Reiterkogel, with a length of 3.2 km, is the perfect opportunity for some real sledding fun! A special adventure is a nighttime tobogganing session on illuminated toboggan runs. The Reiterkogel lift provides a relaxed ascent to the starting point before heading back down into the valley. On Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, there’s also nighttime tobogganing on illuminated toboggan runs.
Guided Snowshoe Hikes
Snowshoeing in the heart of winter is a great way to experience a slowing-down adventure amidst a snowy splendor. Snowshoeing in a group not only provides the opportunity to explore the untouched winter landscape but also to enjoy peaceful moments away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. On a guided tour, you get the chance to discover very special places in Saalbach Hinterglemm.
Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride
Is there anything more beautiful than taking a horse-drawn carriage ride wrapped in warm blankets to the Saalbach Hinterglemm valley end?
During the afternoon excursions, you head to the idyllic valley end up to the Lindlingalm. From there, the one-kilometer-long treetop path begins, featuring the 200m long ‘Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps’. The bridge rises up to 42m high, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountain scenery. In snowy conditions, it’s also possible to return by sled.
Ice Skating
The ice skating rink at the Saalbach Hinterglemm Sports Center offers the perfect opportunity for fun family outings or romantic dates. The feeling of fresh cold air on your face, the crunch of the ice under your skates, and the sparkling ice crystals create a fairy-tale atmosphere that completes the winter magic. Rental skates are available on-site for a fee (€ 4.00 per person).
