• Golden Gate of the Alps: Of course, you can also go hiking during your short holiday in Saalbach Hinterglemm, but if you want to give your tired calves a little break, we recommend the Baumzipfelweg. Europe’s highest treetop hiking trail is made entirely from solid larch wood and features a 40 metre high bridge, which we affectionately call the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps. Definitely worth a visit!
• Now it’s getting wild: May sees the start of the season at Ferleiten Wildlife Park and with it the opportunity to experience over 200 wild animals from the Alps and around the world up close.
